UNAP Instrument ID and Status Help
In the Instrument ID and Status screen, instrument identification and general status are displayed. The identification values cannot be changed from this screen. The serial numbers are read from the installed components in the UNAP instrument and cannot be modified. The status information is current as of the loading of the screen into the browser.
Instrument ID
|
Identification |
The Instrument ID is divided into two sections:
Identification and Serial Numbers.
The items in the Identification section are set on the General Setup tab's General screen. The Facility Short Name item is used in file names. Characters are limited to those useable in file names. |
| Serial Numbers | The items in the Serial Numbers are read from components installed on the various boards in the UNAP. They cannot be modified. |
Status
| Operational Mode | The Operational Mode may be Continuous or Single. In continuous mode at the end of each measurement, a new measurement is started immediately. This process will continue until the user places the UNAP into Single mode or stops the UNAP using the controls on the Status tab's Run page. In single mode, the UNAP will take one measurement and then stop and wait for the user to start another measurement. |
|
Security |
The status of the crypto token, Installed - Ok, Installed - Failed, Not Installed is displayed here. When the crypto token is not installed or when it has failed and the UNAP is configured to encrypt files, the web server will be limited to the Status pages. In this mode the UNAP will not communicate with the DAS. |
|
Storage |
Approximately 16 GBytes of built in storage is available to the UNAP. When available storage becomes low, the user should delete files or copy them to the DAS or a thumb drive to prevent data loss due to lack of room to store data. |
|
Power Supplies |
Some of the power supplies are settable to specific voltages. The current values are shown in this part of the page and should be compared with the desired settings. If a value is unacceptably different from the setting, the UNAP unit should be replaced and sent to maintenance. |
| Temperature | A temperature sensor has been built onto the CPU circuitry in the UNAP. The current value provided by that sensor is displayed here. |
| Contact Closure | The current status of the inputs and outputs is displayed. The data are verified with the page is created. To update to the current status, the page must be reloaded. |
| Critical Errors or Events | All unacknowledged critical errors and events are listed here and will continue to be reported until acknowledged. The user may acknowledge errors or events individually or together. After selected items have been acknowledged and removed from the list, the user must click on the Save button to tell the UNAP which entries have been acknowledged. |
