UNAP File Management

On the File Management pages, the user may change file management attributes associated with files currently on the UNAP instrument. The DATA page shows files containing the collected data. The LOG page show files containing logging information. The state-of-health (SOH) page shows files containing SOH information. All three of the file management pages work identically. Each file is listed under the Files section of the page. The Configuration page provides for uploading to the UNAP a new configuration file and for downloading the UNAP's current configuration file.

Any change MUST be sent to the UNAP instrument by clicking on the Save button.

Files

File Name

Each file is organized by file name and will be listed from oldest to newest. The file name is not changeable.

File Date

The Date listed immediately below the file name is the date of the first DATA, LOG, or SOH information stored in the file. The UNAP instrument records information in day files. Each file will contain information only for the day indicated. The only exception is the List Mode data. In this case, all data acquired for the list mode acquisition will be included-, regardless if a midnight transition occurs. The file date is not changeable.

DAS Copied

The UNAP instrument keeps track of which files have been copied to the DAS. The value reported may be DAS Copied or DAS Not Copied. Changing a file from DAS Copied to DAS Not Copied will cause the file to be copied to the DAS again. Changing a file from DAS Not Copied to DAS Copied will prevent the file from being copied to the DAS at the next opportunity to transfer files. Clicking the Save button will send these changes to the UNAP instrument.

USB Copied

The UNAP instrument keeps track of which files have been copied to a USB thumb drive. The value reported may be USB Copied or USB Not Copied. Changing a file from USB Copied to USB Not Copied will cause the file to be copied to the USB again. Changing a file from USB Not Copied to USB Copied will prevent the file from being copied to the USB at the next opportunity to transfer files. Clicking the Save button will send these changes to the UNAP instrument.

Deletion Status

All files will initially display Not Deleted. This attribute may be changed to To Be Deleted. When the Save button is clicked, the new status will be sent to the UNAP instrument. Any file the user has marked as To Be Deleted will be deleted immediately and consequently will no longer be reported on these pages.

File Size

The size of the file (in bytes) is reported here.
